Beyond Buildings: Architecture Without Construction
The Hungarian Pavilion questions the limits of architecture itself. Evoking the setting of an abandoned yet once-prestigious design studio, the exhibition presents architects who have ventured into alternative careers. These practitioners prove that architectural education is not bound to building alone—indeed, the most sustainable act may be to not build at all.
The content is divided into an RGB color scheme: red for participants, green for their projects, and blue for student surveys that reflect on the current state of architectural education in Hungary. Together, the pavilion reveals the adaptability of architectural thinking and its relevance far beyond conventional practice.
